		<description>I completely agree with this, I think for us who are tech focused there&#039;s an aversion to marketing, that somehow it makes our product lesser. But if you&#039;ve just poured months of your life into a brilliant product which has value for people, you&#039;re doing it a serious disservice not to get the word out.With the brick-and-mortar example, you can essentially buy yourself traffic by being on a busy street. I guess the same applies when you choose to launch inside an app store like environment, which provides discovery for your potential users. When you launch to &#039;the internet&#039;, it&#039;s an awfully large place.Your thoughts also fit in nicely with Lance Wally&#039;s recent post about building for a niche: http://lancewalley.wordpress.com/2010/02/23/niche/If you build for a nice where you are already part of the community, it makes that getting that first wave of users so much easier.</description>
