It would be great if this included multiple examples of the "one sentence" and the answers to the two questions. It's hard to understand otherwise.

Very nice article. I like reading what strategies other developers have chosen to embrace. I agree with this article 100%. People come to me all the time with ideas for websites, iphone apps, etc. and I rarely understand exactly what value it creates without asking a barrage of clarifying questions. Simplicity is refreshing.
